Helping Rescue and Protect Wildlife

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are our most common questions about wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and how you can help.

What should I do if I find an injured or orphaned wild animal?

Keep a safe distance and avoid handling the animal. Call us immediately so we can advise you. Many young animals appear abandoned but are often being cared for by a parent nearby.

Can I bring the animal directly to your center?

Yes, but please contact us first. Some wildlife require special handling to prevent stress or injury.

What animals do you rescue?

We assist birds, small mammals, reptiles, and farm animals in distress. Visit our Gallery for their stories.

Do you offer tours or volunteer opportunities?

Not currently — for the animals’ safety. Volunteer roles are seasonal; contact us for availability.

How is your rescue center funded?

We are funded entirely through donations, sponsorships, and community partners. Visit the Partnership page to learn more.

Can I adopt an animal?

Most wildlife must be released, but occasionally abandoned pets or exotics are available for adoption.

How long does rehabilitation take?

It depends on the injury. Some animals recover in weeks, others require months of specialized care.

Can I donate food or supplies?

Yes. Food, blankets, building materials, and medical supplies are always appreciated. Email us for our current needs list.
